2015 S60 AWD- One flat tire, replace all ?
I have a 2015 S60 T5 AWD. I had a flat tire two weeks back. I had it replaced at the dealer as they were the only ones in town who had the same tire in their inventory.
While he changed one tire for me, he advised me to replace all 4 tires; for the least minumum the front two need to be replaced , he said.
Since the price he quoted pertire was too higher than Sears' , I only replaced the one flat tire then.
The question I have, do I really need to replace all 4 tires for a AWD system ? I read some reports on the net that having unequal tires can stress the AWD system and cause major issues there.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply.
I did check the threading, the two front tires have a lot of wear and definitely needs repair. Is Sears Auto a good place to get the change? They have a lot better prices than my dealer service, for the same exact set of tires.

Sears is convenient for most, and its pretty hard to mess up installing tires on factory rims. What you may want to consider is where you get your wheel alignment done. for new tires, I'd consider going to the dealer for the alignment after getting the tires.
