It's bundled as part of convenience package which I don't really need.

I also see an option Rear Park Assist Camera Prep.

Does anyone know if that means I can then install my own camera?

The PAC prep means the car is prepped from the factory with the cable and module for Volvo's rear park camera.

I doubt you can install your own aftermarket camera. They require another module and software to let the car know that when it goes into reverse to turn the camera on.

 

Do you know how much does it cost to install it alone (not as part of the package)?
