If you are speaking of the rear sensors mounted in the bumper..........well yes, I have had my c-70 equipped with that option. You can purchase the four sensors from Volvo and they are colour keyed to the bumper. They work very well. A c-70 has a terrible blind rear and I backed into concrete lamp poles twice soon after purchasing the vehicle. Volvo in their assessory catalogue has the kit. Of course there was a bit of an extra cost in so far as I had the rear bumper repainted after the contact with the pole..................

I really wanted that option, but the dealer quoted me some crazy price, because they had to remove the rear bumper and make some connections to the transmision. So I did not get it!

Yes, you do have to remove the rear vinyl bumper cover in able to install the sensors and the wiring. As to connecting to the transmission switch...........no, the wiring is simply spliced into the reversing lamp wiring on the left. The kit that my Volvo dealer obtained is actually a "do-it-yourself" model and even came with the drill bit for the sensor holes. I have the box it came in at hand and unfortunately there is no "name' or manufacturer code on it..............it simply 'says' "parking sensor". I did have the dealer install it as I do not have time given the restraints of my travel schedule but the cost seemed reasonable. Perhaps if you 'Google" 'reverse radar' you will find some do-it-yourself kits that you can use. Lastly, I am looking at the wiring schematic and the unit is simply wired into the reverse lamp and a ground...................

Fritz, the information on the website is very limited! I emailed them about fitting my C70 and about the instructions. I'm just wondering if everithing you need is included in the kit.

Any way you look at it fellows, you WILL have to remove the rear bumper cover. The kit the dealer installed was colour keyed silver which was nice. Incidentally, I had to have the rear cover repainted simply because I had backed into a lamp post TWICE in Ohio at a motel. Talk about feeling silly................

The company above offers a back-up system that uses three sensors on a liscense plate frame for $198. I wonder if that set up works well?

Hi,
I already installed the kit, but now I have a problem to determine what color is the reverse light wire, so I can connect it?

Appreciate, if someone could help me

It is blue at either tail light. IIRC it is the only wire in the plug that has 2 wires connected going into 1. The wire will show +12volts when you select reverse.
