Hi all. We purchased my wife a certified pre-owned 2016 V60 last December. It has the regular halogen headlights, and I mistakenly assumed I could just buy some of the factory xenon headlight pods on EBay and swap them out, since they are modular sealed pods. Of course, this didn't work. A quick call to the service department of the dealer we bought it from said there is no way to get these to work. I guess I should have done more research before pulling the trigger on these, but it seemed logical that it would work. The new xenon lamp assemblies have ballasts and seem to be fully intact, but when installed, I get an error on the display that shows the headlamps aren't functional.

I know I can go the route of getting aftermarket bulbs with a CAN-BUS adapter, but was trying to go factory. Is there any way to get these working, or should I re-list these and start investigating aftermarket options? Thanks!
