I have a 01 Volvo s60 and I was wondering if anyone knew if running a straight down pipe would be okay or if I need to have the catalytic converter on it. I was thinking of had one made. so any help would be greatly appreciated

 

you need the Cat to pass emissions. Its not uncommon for people to remove the Cat for track days... You'll also need to figure out how to not trigger the rear O2 sensor codes...

 

No emissions where I live. Any idea on the o2 sensor codes. Any way to bypass

 

there should be some info online - Google on "Celboss" which is a spacer that pulls the factory sensor out of the exhaust stream but leaves the sensor in the system. Should also lead you to various exhaust delete options/parts vendors.
