Default Air Bag Lights

Hi
I am having a volvo s40 2.4i 2006 model . My air bag in the back seat is damaged ,now the air bag light is on and engine check light is also on..
I want off the two lights but i dont want to replace the airbag . Is there any way to deactivate the air bags in the back side and make the airbag light and engine check light off

The only way to determine if your clock-spring is damaged is to have a repair shop diagnose your airbag warning light with a scan-tool.

I agree with ronymac, if you have no scan tool, you can view the profeesional diagnostic tool center uobd2.com.
