Alternator: voltage increases to 14.1v when breaking
Hi guys,
I was scanning my Volvo S60 T4 2011 on Engie and listed a problem related to the alternator.
So I started monitoring the voltage using another App, in real time, to see the voltage. While accelerating or idle, the voltage keep 12v ~ 12.2v, but if I start decelerating (pushing the break pedal), the voltage increases up to 14.1v. Right after I release the break, the voltage returns to 12v ~ 12v.
Isn’t it normal, right? Does anyone know if it is a problem and what is wrong with it?
Thanks!
