Can someone tell me the location of the ambient temp sensor on an 02 S60?

 

I think it's located in the right side mirror (passenger side), if I remember correctly.

 

That is an interesting place for it. I would have never thought to look there. Thank you. Is it behind the actual mirror? And how would I access it?

 

when in doubt call your local volvo dealer and ask for the parts department, tell them you need to replace your sensor and need to know the part as well as where it is located they will most certainly be willing to tell you......it's the easiest way to find it I believe it is located somewhere near the radiator but I am not 100% sure so I would recommend calling the dealership and asking for the parts department ;-)
