I have a question about the auto climate control feature in our 2019 S60. It seems like we have to turn on auto climate control every time we get into the car; same with a/c. Is that normal? Is there a setting I can change so that the climate control stays in the same mode I leave it in?

 

Have not tried manual controls but if you push the Auto button before you turn the car off - it will be in auto when car is started the next time.

 

Thanks for your reply. I’ll try it again this evening, but I swear I was doing just that. Next time I get into the car, it’s not in auto anymore. Our 2011 335xi was and my 2018 GMC pickup is the same way, so I’m not totally oblivious to this stuff...just feel like it some times!

 

A thought -
The temp, seats, radio, mirrors and a bunch of other stuff can be programmed to the profile of a key - Perhaps the key you are using has the ventilation system turned off in it's profile - so just reprogram the key profile.

 

You might be on to something; I’ll have to look into how to program the key profile.
