Hello i have still problem with my car. I got a Volvo s60 2006 2.5 T gas. When i start my car so i heard bad sound Cooling fan. I was at autoservice. They did something like changed for new Cooling fan. After Repair still same problem and same sound. Maybe couple days ago i mean two days. I had check engine light on but about for two hours icon with check engine disappeared. I m confused because i do not know what's wrong. They do not know nothing. Can you help me with my problem?

 

how many miles on the engine?

 

bad sound at start up? does it go away after a few seconds? does it change with engine revs? need a bit more info.... Is this from a cold start (ie in the morning after sitting all night) or when you restart after driving?

Dunno about the connection between the fan and the noise. The fan should not come on at a cold start - if it does you either have a temp sensor issue or a relay issue.

 

2# i have around 160k Miles but engine is very good condition.

3# when I start up the car so right from the start. It starts easily, and then holds the whole time. when I take off the plug-in from Cooling fan so the sound stops. But i changed two days ago for new Cooling fan.

 

When starting the car Cooling fan is working on very high speed whole time. It can be something with a/c ? I have problem also with a/c. Worker told me a/c leak and i have bad evapurator. Worth is for work $600 and for evapurapot $250.
