WHeel torque where did they hide the spec
Ok...I remember going through this before but I didn't write down the %&*%*&^%*%^ torque number and Volvo has it well hidden someplace.
Not happy at the moment with the S60. I decided to do a brake fluid flush and the one bleeder is frozen solid. So I want to put the tire back on but not sure of the torque?

Its found in the owners manual in the section on how to change a tire. You didn't note the year, but assuming your having probs with a brake bleeder, I assume you have an older S60, where the lug nut torque spec is 102 ft-lbs, 135 or so NMs if you're in Canada :-)
It is a 2002.
I had to leave for a dinner so I torqued to 85 pounds. I'll re-torque in the morning.
The tire place were the people who torqued them last after a tire rotation. I can say that they were darn tight. No way could I have loosened them on the side of the road using the bar that comes with the car to loosen them. I had my big breaker bar and had to put a lot of force to break them loose and I was afraid I might hear the snap of a lug bolt.
I could only bleed from the one rear and didn't have time to do the fronts. I only flushed 12 oz of new fluid through the system. Maybe I'll do some more tomorrow morning.
