My son was driving his 2008 S60 2.5T last night... under acceleration there was a Bang (maybe more of a loud Pop), and the engine immediately died.
I drove out to look. I turned the key and it started right up, but quickly the rpm went down and it died. Tried again; the same thing. Towed it home.

Any ideas where to start looking?

check for any intake air tubes from the turbo to the intake (ie throttle body) which may have torn or fallen off

 

Sure enough. Bottom tube coming from the inter-cooler popped off. Any tips getting that back on securely?
