Hopefully someone in the forum can help me here. I have a 2001 S60 T5 and have noticed that the brake lights are illuminating whenever I press the clutch to change gear. It's not a big issue, but annoying. Can anyone suggesta potential fix or adjustment?

Check the wiring leading to the switch. Make sure the clutch pedal isn't pulling the wires to the switch.

Also try adjusting the brake light switch.

You can get to it once you remove the black lower dash panel.
