I'm needing to replace the front brake pads on my Volvo S60 T5 (2002) and am looking for suggestions as to the type of pads I should use for replacement.
I have been to mylocal Auto Zone looking to buy a set of ceramic brake pads, but they don't carry any in stock - they want to sell me their famous Duralast Semi-Metallic pads with the lifetime warranty. I haveinstalled those before on another car and learned very quickly that those pads don't eliminate squealing. I do want a high quality set of pads and no squealing.I have seen some previous posts on this site indicating Mintex brake pads might be the way to go. Are there other brands that I should consider?
Also, for high quality brake pads is there a good website I can order from online rather than through a local auto parts dealer?
Your thoughts and recommendations are greatly appreciated.

And IIRC, (at least on the R model) you need a good amount of grease on the bake of the pad to prevent the squeeling.
