Hi...I'm new to the forums, and I'm wondering if anyone out there can help me.

I have a 2004 S60. This afternoon, when I went to turn on my A/C, it appeared as though nothing was happening. I tried again, and it sounded as though the fan was having trouble starting...I heard some sputtering and clicking noises, but that's about it. I am getting cold air, it's just nowhere near the amount that should be coming out.

I've tried flipping both climate controls to warm, and then back to cold, to no avail.

I have an appointment to take the car in on Wednesday, but I was just wondering if anyone may have a clue as to what my problem may be?

Maybe a blower motor problem.

 

Thank you for the prompt reply! I'm just hoping that it is not the evaporator...because from what I can tell, that will be a very costly repair.
