Default A/C Warm Air on Passenger Side, Cold Air when on Heat

Sorry, couldn't come up with a title that was going to make sense. I recently asked this question about noise from the blower motor (https://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-s60-v60-10/vibrating-noise-heater-50097/) and I don't know if this question is related or completely different.

It seems that on the passenger side of the car, the vents blow cool air when the heat is on and warm air when the A/C is on. It's not 100% of the time and if you flip from cold to hot and back again on the passenger control, you'll get the proper temperature for 10 seconds or so. Then, it goes to this mediocre warm or mediocre cold (opposite of what it should be, and weak.)

The driver side is perfect...always.

Could be a bad temp sensor on the passenger side. Have you had the ECC checked for codes?
