Exclamation Changed timing belt now have code P0016

I recently changed my timing belt, tensioner, waterpump and idler pulley on my 2002 S60 AWD 2.4t. The install seemed to go fine and car starts and runs fine, but after 4-5 starts the check engine light comes on with P0016. I'm guessing I'm off a tooth or so, but looking for advice on how to correct. Also am I in trouble if either of my cams moved without the timing belt on during install. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you are off a tooth or so you should still be fine.
I would try to reset the timing and go from there. Line up the marks and see where it is off and just realign it and go.

After I line up the timing marks and assuming it is off can I move the align the cams without belt on?

Yes you can just line the marks up and put the belt back on. The VVT one commonly can give a hard time when putting the belt back on.
