Default Check Engine light on....

This morning i drove with the sensor unhooked from the airbox by accident (wasn't reconnected when cleaning airbox) so this morning I had a check engine light and didn't realize why until my fiance checked my engine and reconnected the sensor in question. Do I need to find someone with a scanner (or go to AutoZone) to see if I can have the code cleared manually.... or will the CEL go away on it's own after the car logged some more miles with the sensor connected correctly?

Would be best to have it cleared with a scanner.

Thanks! It went off on it's own yesterday after I got home from work.
