Question Coolant Temp Range

Hey everyone,

So 2002 S60 2.4 NT Ive had it for a few years now and its been fine.. Im not sure if its me of if i am just being paranoid about it, but im in florida and its been hitting Upper 90's to 100's 'F out side and ive noticed that my AC has been struggling to keep up lately.. so I pluged my scan gague in and noticed that the coolet has been going from like 180 to 220ish in the car depending on moving or driving etc..

Is that normal or should I worry?

Thanks

xak

Pretty normal, don't worry. Mine ranges between 182 and 210 on my 960. You may have a weak thermostat. Wouldn't hurt to replace that, under $20.
