I have a 2006 S60 T5. I noticed a problem with the cooling fan recently. When it turns on high, it stays on. I can reset it by pulling the Engine Control Module Feed, Engine Relay fuse (5 amp). Goes back to low until the drive home the next day.

Thermostat was replaced. It was not the issue. Temp gauge behavior has not changed.

I also noticed today (83 in the Midwest) that the AC is not working. Fan blows but the compressor does not come on.

Any chance these are related? Any thoughts on a fix would be appreciated.

Did you ever figure out the fix? My cooling fan just got stuck on tonight, had to disconect it to get it to turn off
