Correct spark gap 04 S60 2.5T
I bought Bosch platinum plugs Part Number FR7DPX as they stated they fit my model, gap is 0.040? Do I want to re gap to 0.032 per manual specifications or get refund and different plug bosch platinum FR7DP?
Reasons chose this plug over current volvo OEM are advertised better cold weather starts and higher fuel efficiency. I frequently get car sputterring at start up and I have to re start ignition. Current milage 65,0000 .

Hi Bobbi,
As I'm not privy to S60, this is only a reference.
Platinum/Iridium plugs are pre-gapped and in general, they must not be re-gapped or the electrodes may be damaged.
The specs found in your service manual are probably for copper-electrode plugs. If you want to be sure, I would get refund and get Volvo plugs but that's just me.
I hope this gives you some ideas to start with.
