Fog and low beam wiring
How difficult would it be to swap the fogs and the low beams? From the CEM or fuse box or similar...
Here's the situation:
The biggest problem is that I've installed a 50w Apexcone HID kit (now I see they have 55w kits which really gets to me, but anyhow) and it throws a "Low Beam Failure" message and causes the right low beam to turn off after a brief flicker (sometimes). I tried the XenonValot.com fix by drilling a 2mm hole in the shunt on the CEM and now neither will even flicker, but there is no LBF message on the plus side.
I did test my installation by plugging the high beam connector directly into the ballasts (they're the same plug - crazy, right?) and the HID low beams will turn on with the high beams activated.
My idea is that if I switch my fogs and low beams, the LBF message will not come back (after I replace the shunt with a non-drilled one) and my fogs will become my daytime running lights. The benefits to this idea are that:
1. It looks cool (in my humble opinion). Often times I will just turn on the parking lamps and fogs because I like that look.
2. It will save precious hours on my HID bulbs.
3. It will avoid the "Low Beam Failure" message.
4. My HIDs will actually WORK!
Soooo...
Is what I'm dreaming of possible with the simple swap of wires? Say on the back side of the fuse box...
It's an 02 S60 by the way. All help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

For example, could I swap the hot leads on #3 and #18 on the backside of the passenger compartment fuse box??
