Hey does anyone have a diagram of the proper way to remove the dash panels on an 05 s60?

 

Which part of the dash are you trying to remove?

 

mainly the panels around the radio, i have to run an antenna from the rear of the vehicle, and i think im gonna run the wire through the ac vent, so i need to get the panels around the center vents out.

 

If you look under the A/C panel there is the pen holder or the little panel if you don't have the pen holder.Remove that panel and remove the 2 T-25 screws.Lift up slightly on the A/C panel then pull straight back to unlatch it from the bottom of the radio assy.Then you will see screws to remove the radio.That should get you started.

 

how do you remove the pen holder?

 

You need to use a small screwdriver and put it under one of the corners and pull out.You may have to hold that side and do the same on the other side.

 

Tech is it possible to change the A/C panel from a manual to digital type

 

It would not be worth doing it.
You would have to remove the dash and replace tons of parts.
