I purchased a 2004 Volvo S60 with roughly 227000 KM's, shortly after the purchase the radiator started leaking, got it fixed and mechanic also recommended I also get an outer tie rod, upper right strut mount, brakes both front and rear (pads & rotors), all this roughly I paid 1355 on top of 1400 I paid for the vehicle. About two days later I had to replace the mass air flow sensor, completed alignment and safety ($300). To save money I decide to change the oil myself and upon removing the covers underneath I noticed that the transmission and turbo are leaking. So should attempt to repair hoping I can make this count and maybe get it to 400000kms or just give up and sell it

first thing to do is to clean off all the surfaces and then see where the fluid is coming from. There's two places a turbo can leak - the oil return line (replacing the seal is $.10 part ) or the turbo's bearing seal (turbo has to come out for a rebuild or replace). seal kits are fairly cheap ($40) on eBay. Transmissions have axle seals which are accessible, but also you want to check the transmission cooler lines and seals. If you had the radiator done, they would have been doing work on/around the cooler/lines so they may need to be inspected/tightened. If its an input shaft seal, the transmission has to come out (same as a leaking rear main seal).
