Yes there is one on the back of the block.
It is on the timing belt side.

Is it recommended to drain the block too, or just the radiator when changin coolant? Is this a real threaded drain or some kind of freeze plug?

You could do either the block drain is pretty high.

It is a Nipple sticking out.

I've been looking for this nipple too. I see a fitting on the piping to the turbo, but can't find the fitting on the block(?). Is it high on the engine behind this turbo piping? or lower toward the sump? TIA.

It is up high. It might be the one on the cooling pipe.
It would run from the back of the water pump across the back of the engine (pipe)
Some are in the block and others are in the pipe.

This might be the wrong place for this, but my son's "Coolant Low Stop Engine" message came on, and he mistakenly poured in a small amount of gasline antifreeze and water, and thankfully made it home. Are there any suggestions on how I should proceed? Thanks.
