Default battery draining

I recently drove my 86 740 GLE wagon (gas, no turbo) from Oregon to West Virginia. The beauty has 230,000 miles and drove like a champ (and towed a uhaul trailer). Anyway, with about 800 miles of the trip left, the alternator belt broke. I put a new one on and finished the trip with no problems. Then, after about a month, the weather turned cold and on some mornings I needed a jump b/c there was absolutely no juice in the battery. I have since replaced the battery and the voltage regulator in the alternator. At about the same time of the first draining, the power antenna stopped working, in mid-action. At first I thought it was the alternator, but I'll charge the battery, and then let the car sit overnight and still get a drained battery. I have removed the fuse for the antenna and I still get a depleted battery. Please help if you can, as I'm about to drive the car back to Oregon.

Default RE: battery draining

You need to check for a parasitic draw.
Look at my posts about how to do it.
