New to the forum and thanks for any help you can provide.

Issue:
2012 S60 T6. Drivers side wiper arm interferes with the edge of the hood when I try to pull the wiper off the hood into a vertical position. Anyone else have this issue? Any help would be great because I like to keep them off the windshield during a snow/ice storm. Attached are some photos

 

The car should still be under warranty, make the dealer deal with it. It may be as simple as the securing bolt being loose.

 

Well after digging out the service manual. I found that the wipers must be in the vertical "Service Position" to change wiper blades or to lift them away from the windshield. Thanks for the response though.
