always leave it on, its a fabulous safety feature. when its off a dash warning light will let you know its off, so if you have no light (it looks like a car skidding losing control) on your dash the dtsc is on

Good luck

I think you have to push it like five times to shut it off.

DTSC controls each wheel individually to prevent kidding. If you are concerned about traction in rain, press the W button behind the stick. To turn off DTSC (which you shouldn't do!) press and hold the button for about five seconds. The light on the button will turn off and you will get an advisory light in the console.

The light in the button will be green when it's on. I always turn it off in the snow. To turn it off push the button five times quickly. The message center will say something like "anti-skid off".

You should only turn it off when your wheels are stuck in sand or snow and you need them to be able to spin a bit. Statistically, DSTC reduces your likelihood of being in a single vehicle accident by 30%, and it is useful in all driving conditions.
