Default Exhaust help For 2002 s60 t5

I'm buying a double 2" obx catback exhaust system for my 2002 Volvo s60 t5, and can't tell if the stock system is bolted on, because I'm unable to see underneath the car. Does anyone know if it's a bolt on system?

I just did an OBX system on my '01 this past Sunday. It's a very nice system. It is a direct-fit, bolt-on set. The factory system has a flange just forward of the resonator that uses two bolts. The kit includes new bolts and a new gasket as well as clamps. If you live in a place where rust is an issue (like I do) the bolts could be too rusted to reuse, so that's helpful.

That's awesome thanks for the info, I figured it was bolt-on but couldn't see it very well. How is the sound out the back. And did you buy the double 2" obx catback?

I got the same kit. It sounds as good as it looks. It has a deeper tone without being loud, which was a concern I had. It flows much better than stock. Worth every penny.

As far as volume of it how much louder is it than the stock system?

It's at least twice as loud as the stock system at startup and idle as well as acceleration. But the difference is minimal at cruising speed which is important to someone like me.
