Default Fob doesn't work in cold?

My question is, my keyless entry won't work when it's cold but works when it's warm out? I changed the battery in the fob and it's still the same thing. Also when I came out to the car Sunday morning I had to use my key, of course, 32 deg. outside, it only unlocked the front locks and not the rear ones and the fuel gage quit working and I also couldn't open the fuel door. I checked all the fuses and they were fine so I disconnected the battery for awhile and reconected it, everything worked after that except the keyless entry. Anyone have any ideas why it does this? Thanks, Kevin

You might have a Rear electronic module going bad.

Is that in the fuse box in the trunk?

The fuse box is the module.
When it goes bad it will loose all the rear door locks and the fuel door and fuel gauge.

Sounds expensive, I think I might just get rid of the car, it's been nothing but problems since I've bought it and the dealer said the Cat needs replacing, I have 89k miles on it.[:@]

What were the codes they pulled to tell you that?

Some codes that say bad cat is bad injectors.

ECM-3420 rear knock sensor, signal too high/ ECM-4801 three-way catalytic converter efficiency, bank 1, all say permanent fault. They said they tested the cat. by the temperatures at the front and rear of the cat.

On the sheet from the dealer it's listed 3 times.

Also I wonder what the rear knock sensor is from? I called the dealer about replacing the rear module, their quote is $916.10, ouch!

OUCH I agree.

If the car is running to rich from either the injectors bad or the Cat. bad it can set the Knock sensor code.
