Default Front door speaker grill removal

Can the front door speaker grills be removed without taking off the entire door panel? We spilled sweet potato sauce down the door and it ran over the speaker grill. I would like to remove the grill to clean it out of the holes. We have a 2004 S60. If the door panel must be remove, how involved is that?

The speaker grill is a one time thing. They push it in the panel and then melt the backside to keep it in there.

Try taking a dry toothbrush and sticking it through the holes to clean most of the mess away. It will fall into the speaker cavity but at least you wont have to look at all that sauce.

The door panel is not too difficult to remove. It just needs care not to break the clips.
