Default Front of motor oil leak

I have an oil leak coming from the front of the motor, 2.5T. Its dropping 2-5 drops each night. Today I pulled the timing cover off of it hoping to diagnose it. It appears to me that’s it’s coming from the crank area.
There’s no oil on the timing belt, and the only oil on the inside of the timing cover is at the bottom right next to the crank.
Based on what I read, it sounds like front crank seal leaks are rare and it’s more often cam seals.
By looking at these pics what do you guys think? The PCV system was replaced last year and the glove is sucked in today.

I'd start by cleaning up the area as best you can to get a better sense of the source. Are you sure its oil and not weeping from the water pump?
As you noted there are three possible causes a) cam seals b) VVT gear c) front main seal. The bad news is to service any of the three will require the timing belt to be removed..

If the timing belt gets wet with oil or coolant the service life will suffer.
