Question The Grille

So i have 2 questions total, but the first one is the most important.

1) How do you remove the grille from the front of a 2002 Volvo s60? I've seen some things where you have to pull back the front bumper and undo these clips but i'm not certain.

2) What's the best way to possibly debadge the grille? I want to remove the chrome sash and maybe even the logo and replace it with the newer Volvo logo (like the one on the 2011 s60) or even a different looking logo.

Thanks, all help is appreciated.

There are tabs along the top and bottom of the grill that you can un-clip if you use a bone tool or something similar (butter knife, letter opener, ect...). If you slide the tool in between the grill and the opening in the bumper cover you'll hit the mounting points.

Now for removing the slash, it looks terrible since there are mounting clips on the slash that attach to the grill. So under the slash it looks different then the rest of the "egg Crate" design. I have a grill at home that I can post a pic of to show you what it looks like without the slash if you want. I can also take a pic of the back side so you can see where the mounting tabs are.

And yeah, i was wondering about that. I'm not entirely sure what i want to do yet. If you could post the pictures that would be a great help.

This is an S60R grill so the design in slightly different but the mounting tabs are all in the same general if not exact location and the slash mounts the same way with all the "egg crate" style grills. There are no clips in the sides, just the the guiding tabs that you see in the center of the top and bottom of the grill.

You can see how the slash mounts in those locations.
