Guage Pannel; RPM, Peed, gas...all of it. Comes and goes?
Hi,
I have a 2003 S60 AWD and all of the sudden a "SRS-Airbag Urgent" message came up. But that is no big deal, where the problem starts is the sometime the lights on the daskboard go out completely and no of the gauges are even working at all.
Then...it will randomly come and go from there. But even when it comes back on the gauges will suddenly stick. So I will be at a stop light, for example, and it will say that I am going 40 mph and at 3000 RPM's but...I'm at a dead stop.
What I have done:
- checked all the fuses and circuits
- taken it to a mechanic (who was way to busy to do anything really; oil change was the primary reason).
- And now, posting it on the forum.
What I think may have caused it:
- a month or so ago I hit and went over a curb. my guess is that something was loosened and has since become barely in-tact.
I guess I just need to figure out where the wiring goes and then try to find it.
Please lend any advice if you have it.
-Thank you
