Default Headlight Bulb Advice Plese

2006 S60 stock halogen (yellow) bulbs and I hate it.
· I don’t want to go to the HID’s with all the ballasts and wiring etc.…
· I want to keep with the basic stock type of bulbs and wattage
· Low beam (H-11 65w) High beam (H-9 65w) Fogs (H-1 55w)
· I would like something in the 5000 – 6000 Kelvin range.

Advice request:
· What is a good brand for the money?
· What is a reputable company to purchase from?
· What are your past experiences with swapping to the ultra-white bulbs?

Photos – before and after would be cool too.

Thank you
DMac

Hi,

I replaced mine with Sylvania Silverstar High Performance. They are brighter and whiter than the stock halogens. Sylvania offers several other options too.

Here's a comparison chart:

And the product page:

I think they go for $40 a pack at local stores, but you can get them cheaper online.
