Headlight question
Hey all, I bought a set of silverstars and stuck them in my S60, but one headlight is brighter than the other. I thought I might have mal-adjusted them when I installed them so I took my car to the dealer and they "adjusted" them. However one is still brighter.... I called them back and asked em what was up and the guy said that some non-oem lights don't work, like all the voltage is going to one headlight making one brighter than the other.... I don't know what to do, does anyone have any ideas or should I grip down and buy another set of regular bulbs and see what happens?
Why not just upgrade to HIDs and be done with it.
I had Silverstars and loved them. I had zero problems with them. Then I upgraded to HID's the difference is amazing and the light output is far greater then anything else.
You can get HID kits for $125 from MyDepots with a 14 month warranty or...
Get an HID kit for a little more get a LIFETIME warranty and get them from SharpHID. John is a great guy and will treat you right.
If you don't like this idea then go back to regular OEM bulbs which can be bought at your local auto parts store. Don't go to the dealership they will rip you off.

I just bought an '04 S80 T6 for my wife. She noticed the other day that the driver side headlight (left)is brighter than the passenger side. Is that indicative of a problem with the passenger-side bulb or is that a Volvo safety thing?
Thanks!
