Default Heater Fan issue

Hi everyone!

I have a 2005 S60 2.5T AWD. Has been a great car, but the heater fan has never seemed to blow enough air. On its highest setting barely any air comes out of the vents. The speed does incrementally increase as you turn the dial, just a low volume overall.
My question is would this be a control/ resister issue or blower motor problem?

Many thanks
Adam

I made a PooTube video ad hoc, last minute... with a cell. Here's how to delve deeper into filter, fan motor, damper motor modules, etc.

Hi drudgenator,

Sort of..... I removed the filter, I do not have a replacement as yet (and the one in there was quite dirty!), and there was instantly more airflow! Not sure I will even replace the filter.....
A/C cooled the car from 27 deg within minutes, which used to take forever!

So yes it did fix my problem.

Cheers

Charcoal impregnated MANN filter from NAPA for about $30.
Good flow and clear air.
