HELP - Broke Transmission dipstick
After all the posts about transmission flushes, finding the right fluid (used Toyota Type IV) and then the epic struggle with the green clip...I snapped the transmission dipstick. Super glue lasted long enough to tell me it was overfilled, so I flushed some more out. But I can'tget a solid cold-hot reading until I get a new one? Any idea besides the dealer? FCP Groton is useless for the S60.
By the way, as someone who has never done that, the ATF looks and smells like cough syrup, but it's nasty stuff. A little splatter on the side of my tire and it ate away the rubber. Some seriously harsh stuff.
