Default Help maf issue I think

Car- 2006 Volvo s60 2.5t (fwd and has turbo)

So I had a bad MAF I replaced it nothing.. so I got reorder and this one worked for a day but most of the time it was reading like 37lb/min and now it doesn't read and the cel light comes on I have no idea what to do and how to fix it any ideas?
When I unplugged the MAF plug and turned the car to on the most voltage I got out of 2nd pin- 1.20v and 4th pin 0.50v if case if this means something else not sure.

How do you know the MAF is bad? Often when you get a MAF code it is because the sensor is letting you know the air measurements aren't matching where they need to be. I also got a MAF code from my wiring to the sensor being too close to ignition wires.

Well I thought it was bc it kept stalling the car I cleaned the sensor but wasn't reading anything and a error code would show up saying like performance is low or something I believe it was p0101 or close to it.

I would think you likely have an intake leak somewhere. If scanned with VIDA it will probably tell you it is between the turbo and the engine. I would inspect all hoses & connections. You can try a smoke test as well. I think your MAF is working fine. I had a crack on the corrugated part of my intercooler pipe going to the throttle body which was unnoticeable until I did a smoke test.

Ohhh alright it does have a ton of miles on it very close to 322,000 so that would make sense when I can I'll try to find the leak not sure what vida is but I can't do a smoke test(short of cash ATM) but I'll try to spray some carb cleaner to see if I can find anything if not I'll have to try to find a place to do the smoke test if it's a good price

VIDA is dealership scanning system to get volvo specific DTCs for your car. It communicates with each module. I do not think smoke tests are very expensive to get done, however I have my own little rinky dink machine that gets the job done.
