Default Hi all

Hi all would like introduce myself my name is Tony and I am thinking about buying an S60 and was wondering if u all could give me a run down of common problems they have? It will probly be like 07-08 awd. I had a 96 850 and loved it got 220,000 miles out of it before the #5 cylinder went just wondering if the newer models r as reliable? I am looking around and they seem to be around $19,500 in New Hampshire certified is that a decent price for an 07-08? Thank u for any input in advance I have read alot of reviews and they seem to be mixed. looking forward to your input

thanks again

Just search for more reviews here, lots of people including myself asked the same question. You will find the same mix of opinions depending on how lucky the owned got with their purchase and of course how it was maintained. I doubt you'll get as good of reliability as you got on your 850.

Default S60 Purchase

Hi, I recently bought an 07 S60AWD in Boston. Car had 6,100 miles on it. Dealer wanted 23,400. I got them down 2800, with another 4200 on my 02XC70 (100K mi). $19,500 sounds like a great price for a certified 07/08 AWD. My only recommendation is to be sure that 'certification' includes an extended warranty. At my dealership in Boston, none of the cars were sold 'certified.' Buyer has to purchase extended warranty separately. Good luck. These are great cars, and Consumer Reports likes the 07 and 08 for reliability.
