My name is Jerome and I currently own a S60 2.0T (Yr 2001) model. In Malaysia, because of the road tax and maintainance cost, the S60 lineup starts with 2.0 litre engines, instead of the 2.3 or 2.4. The line up is 2.0T, 2.5(T5) and finally the S60R (none sighted on Malaysian roads yet).

I have been reading the threads and topics discussed for the last few weeks and it is a good place to gather valuable information. Cars are very expensive here in Malaysia (a S60 2.0T costs USD 57,000) and because our currency is not that strong against most major currencies, we actually pay very high prices for parts to maintain our cars here. This forum is very helpful in identifying possible problems and enable me to zoom in to possible diagnosis to solve my problems. This saves a lot in terms of "wrong" diagnosis by unscrupulous mechanics.
