High idle when warm after ETM/intake cleaning. getting Codes P0507 & P1167

My 2008 S60 FWD 2.5T was having issues for months with fluctuating idle at while stopped at lights so I pulled the ETM to see if it needed to be cleaned. When I pulled the intake pipes off I found a good amount of oil in them. (which is not good) I pulled the intake and found a clogged port in the PCV system. It is the very small hard plastic line that goes from the coolant pipe jacket to the banjo bolt in the lower passenger side of the intake manifold. I cleaned all the parts thoroughly and replaced the clogged line. While i was there I pulled the PCV trap and cleaned it out as well as the inter-cooler since it had oil in it. After reassembling it all I have a high idle after is warms up. When cold, it starts up at 1200 then kicks down to 900. As it warms up the idle creeps up to 1200 and eventually reaches 2000 rpm. Every 30-40 seconds the engine sputters and the idle drops back to 1200 but then it creeps to 2000, coughs again , goes to 1200 and back up to 2000. It keeps doing this over and over. When you put it in drive the idle drops down to 900 but i think it is just due to the load placed on the motor. I can still feel that it is trying harder than it should sitting still in drive. I searched for intake/ vacuum leaks and cannot find any. I am getting codes P0507 and P1167 idle control system RPM higher than expected. Reset computer and they come right back. The ETM was caked full of oil and carbon which i cleaned out. Prior to the cleaning the throttle position was fluctuating at idle between 14/15%, now it is at a steady 16% even while the rpm is raising on its own. While cleaning the ETM i pulled the black cover off and cleaned the internals. just wiped the dust out by hand. I think that I may have messed something up internally or from the prolonged dirtiness it isn't closing to where it should now that it is clean.I am leaning towards getting a new ETM. Any other ideas out there?? Also, if i order a new ETM do i need to get it reprogrammed or does that not apply to the 2008 S60? Thank you in advance for your help!
