High mileage 2.5t
We have a 2008 S60 2.5T that we have owned since 2009 with 31k miles. Today it has 211k miles. It has been serviced properly, including a drain and fill on transmission fluid every 3rd oil change. The PCV system has never been touched and still sucks in the glove.
It has an issue with the tire pressure sensor system and constantly says we have low tires when we don’t...the sensors have been checked by the local tire shop and they read correctly, the system is bad. We have the issue with anti-skid as well. Other than that, the car is perfect.
In another 12-18 months I’ll have to replace the timing belt again and put a set of tires on it. So, $1,500+ spent on a $3,500 car.
How many guys have 2.5T’s with 200k+ and would you keep this car and spend the money to maintain it?
