Default how hard is it to replace a tire?

Hi all,

There was a mishap with one of the tires on my 2006 S60 2.5T, Sport, which has 17" 235/45/17 Pirelli P6 all season tires. Anyway, anyone have an idea of how hard it would be to remove the existing tire, buy a new one, put the new on on the rim, and reinstall it onto the car?

Also, I imagine that Pirelli P6 tires aren't exclusive to Volvos. I found someone selling a 235/45/17 P6 spare attached to his Audi A4 OEM rim. So this tire should be the same one that came with my S60, right? Or does Volvo do something to the P6's to make them unique, and unaccepting of substitutes?

Thanks!

Just have a tire shop swap them for you.

right, but it would be all right even though the tire is coming off of an audi a4, as long as it's the same tire, right? volvo or audi don't do something special/use specific tires that will render them useless with any car other than the ones they come on as stock tires, right?

thanks.

Yeah it will be fine. Those profile tires are hard to do at home. PLus you have to get it balanced. Might as well spend the 20 bucks to get it don by a shop.
