I'm browsing about the various forums seeing which ones are active, inviting, helpful, etc. and noticed that you folks seem to be all that.

Anyway, I'm the DIY sort and am coming out of a three year love/hate relationship with a tempermental Discovery 2.

Since this generation of S60 is so new, there's not much in the way of statiscal data. However, I was wondering if anyone had came across any information about projected long term reliability? Although I'm pleased to have the 5 year warranty and service, it's years 6-10 that concern me. Also, given that there's no small number of electronic gizmos that will no doubt have gremlins after the warranty lapses, how difficult would be for the DIYer to deal with faulty sensors or what not? My hunch is that there will be some proprierty (re) programming involved and we'll have no choice but to make the long trek to the dealership and be raked over the coals.
