I have a 2005 S60 2.5T that I got just a touch over a year ago. About 3 months ago I started to notice that the LCD screen on my radio started to 'bleed' over turning the whole thing yellow. I waited a few weeks to see if it would work itself out and it just got worse. I took it in and they just replaced the whole dang thing (under warranty), which was about 2 weeks ago. Just the other night I noticed it doing it again!

It's only the stereo but I like watching the titles scroll across the screen, it's nice to know what I'm listenin to ya know? Anyway I was just wonderin if this was a common problem with the '05 S60 or if this is an isolated case. Either way I will take it back in when I get a chance, just wondering though if it's typical or not.

I've never seen this issue arise before, but if you had the radio installed at a dealer then it should be covered under a 1 year parts and labor warranty. Give them a call and see what they say about the issue your having.

 

Yea everything should be under the warranty, but I'm starting to wonder if there is something wrong with my car that is causing the stereo to act that way...

 

For some reason I think I remember seeing a Volvo Tech Net Note about this issue. I can't recall exactly. I really don't think anything is wrong with your car though.
