Default I need a part# Can anyone help me?

Hey everyone.
I need to replace the power door module on my wife's 2001 S60. The stealership will NOT tell me what the part# is. That and they want like $450 for the part, $90 for software, $150 to install it. I figure I can do the install myself, and if it does indeed need to be programmed I will take it to a dealership and have it reprogrammed.

Thanks for any help.

Jamie

I'm looking for the power door module.

Here's a picture.

Oh, this is in the front passenger side door.

Well as you should be able to see in the pic I would need the last 8 digits of the Vin# to be able to give you the exact part # there is 8 different ones.

8651328 should be the one you need.
Your vin# is 45730 and that part# goes with the Vin#'s between 38804-55868 and you are right in the middle.

Default compatible PDM serial numbers

I am adding to this thread as I am hoping that someone may have insight into matching compatible pdm's. Ive got a 01 xc70 and my door module is done. Looking to swap it out for a used one and have heard some people have had luck finding a used one with the same serial numbers and ultimately avoid the trip to the dealer and the 300 dollar price tag for the new one and the 100 plus for the software. I can get one for 40 bucks online and be done. My question. Do you think these may be compatible (see images)? Top numbers match. bottom ones don't. Any thoughts would be welcome.
