Can you help me identify this strut part? I need to replace it.
Here's some photos of my front strut mounts from the engine bay:
I know one of them needs to be fixed (pass side) but is the other one (driver side) bad as well or does it look ok? It seems to have separated from the metal ring under it.
I assume the part linked below is what I need. One has my part # listed (9492209), but the other one doesn't, are they the same? Also, mine doesn't seem to have those 4 notches unless they bent towards the inside and I can't see them anymore or they wore out:

Do I need to buy anything else? I'm not planning on doing the whole front suspension (not on my budget right now), just want to fix the darn clunking noise and I know it could get worse if I don't hurry and fix it.
Also, the black bar that goes side to side that hooks to the upper engine mount and next to the strut mount seems to be loose and I can move it easily with my hand, is this normal?

You don't need either of those. You need the upper spring seat, which is sometimes also called upper strut mount. It is a rubber mount that goes on top of the spring. The bearing plate goes on top of it. The bearing plates don't have a lot of problems but the mounts commonly tear. You can remove the top nut and washer to examine them. Or turn the top not clockwise. If it goes all the way around, the mount is torn.
As for the upper engine mount, if you have the new design, it has play which is normal. If you have the old design, just look at it to see if the bushing is torn.
