Hi,

First time user here....has anyone experienced this?

We have a '01 S60 T5 that accelerates for a sec or two after lifting off the gas padel. This is under normal driving.

Has anyone experinced this? Is this the result of fuel burn off in the turbo??

Have you had the throttle body cleaned lately?

 

No i haven't. the car has been serviced regularly.....I was wondering if it something to do with ECU or something, time for an upgrade perhaps.

 

I would start with cleaning the throttle body. If it is really dirty it messes with the idle bad.

 

Does it idle up and down? CEL? Could be bad Throttle body!

 

She idles perfectly! Every once in a while she surges like the pedal is still depressed.
