Default Intermittent door lock problem

New to the forum and new to Volvos. I have an intermittent door lock problem. If I try to manually lock or unlock the door using the key inserted into the drivers door, it does not work. The key fob buttons intermittently work. The drivers side lock button intermittently works. The passenger side lock button always works. The trunk will always open when I lift it at the handle whether I have the key fob with me or not, not sure if it is supposed to work like that or not. Every now and then when I open the drivers door I hear a click on the other doors. Makes me think that it is sensing my fob and unlocking the other doors. Not sure if that is a feature or not. It will do this regardless if I have my fob on me or not. Ive searched and I have not found a problem like mine. Similar but not the same. I appreciate the help. It would be nice to be able to lock my doors. Since manually inserting the key to unlock doesnt work and the fob intermittently works I do not lock them. Because who knows if I will be able to get the door to unlock.
